1.) The Darwin Exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History. Check it out http://www.amnh.org/exhibitions/darwin/?src=h_h
2.) The Butterfly Conservatory at the American Museum of Natural History.
3.) I realize this is like really far fetched but maybe if we got reservations like last year we could goto Babbo. Its a restaurant for those of you who aren't obsessed with the Food Network... but it would be amazing albeit a little on the expensive side...

So, I fully accept the fact that I'm being a science nerd, but I would LOVE to go to the museum of natural history to see the darwin and butterfly conservatory! I actually love that museum, it's one of my favorites. I try to go every couple of years.

I just wanted to remind you tht Brooklyn IS NYC - and no trip to Gotham is complete without it! Don't forget the Brooklyn Academy of Music (affectionately known as the BAM which has awesome theater and film). The BAM is at Atlantic Avenue and Flatbush Avenue (the real crossroads of the world) so its a cinch to get to by subway. Additionally, if you get a chance try Grimaldi's Pizza underneath the Brooklyn Bridge -it is superb - arguably the best in the universe. Just a plug for the best borough in NYC, and the single greatest place in the world!!!
Humbly,
Jim
